Gemstones

Diamond

Diamonds are a girls best friend…And for a reason. It is the hardest stone on earth. We usually are looking of the whitest, brightest and clean cut diamonds. I prefer to work with natural coloured diamonds and in organic shapes.

“Stone of Invincibility,” bringing victory, superior strength, fortitude and courage to its wearer. It is associated with lightning and fearlessness, and for its properties of protection. It is a symbol of wealth and manifesting abundance in one’s life, an amplifier of energies, goals and intent, and is highly effective in magnifying the vibrations of other crystals for healing. It is particularly beneficial set in gold and worn on the left arm. [Kunz, 70-71][Gienger, 33][Fernie, 66, 69][Hall, 122-123]

Sapphire

Sapphire is a variety of Corundum in all kind of colours and shades. The most popular one is deep blue, pink sapphire is also known as ruby.

Sapphire is a Stone of Wisdom, a royal stone of learning, mental acuity and psychic activation, a seeker after spiritual truth.

Tourmaline

Tourmaline may form as red, pink, yellow, brown, black, green, blue or violet, ranging in hue from pale light to very dark.

Opal

Opals form as colorless, white, yellow, red, orange, green, brown, black or blue, and may be transparent, translucent or opaque. They have a brittle tenacity and are usually cut en cabochon to show their full play of color. Solid Opal refers to stones consisting wholly of Precious Opal, while thin, but beautiful layers are sometimes made into doublets (with a supportive backing), or triplets (having a backing and a crystal dome over the top for protection).

Gold

Not a gemstone, but a precious metal...
